Per Westman presents two very different characters. Firstly the stagehand - a simple man, shy and out of place, who is forced onto the stage where he confronts his nerves and nerdiness to triumph over all his fears. Secondly the star - cool, calm and confident, ‘the consummate professional’, he craves the adoration of the audience and knows exactly how to get it!
We have about 120 students at our school with varying disabilities. The students range from 5 years to 18 years. We received excellent feedback from the students and the staff also enjoyed the performance.

The vaudeville format with its emphasis on variety is ideal for children and Alan Sloggett has all the skills and experience to keep his audience enthralled with his comedy, magic, puppets and ventriloquism. Children have always been fascinated by magic but when Alan combines traditional slight of hand magic with electronics, children are truly spellbound by what they see.
Upbeat, Enthusiastic and Thought Provoking. A very entertaining show with strong messages about anti-bullying and co-operating with others. Transitions between segments were seamless.

In these days of pre-recorded, flat screen visual entertainment where everything is possible, Alan challenges his audience, right before their eyes with illusions that get their young brain cells working, trying to work out what actually happened in the seemingly impossible illusions they witness. Add to this, lashings of humour, a nautical theme, one wise cracking Toucan and Alan’s many years of experience in children’s entertainment and you have over 50 minutes of great children’s theatre.
All the children were entertained throughout the performance. The age range was from 2 to 12 years old so an amazing job to keep them all enthralled. Will recommend to others.
