With lashings of humour, loads of audience participation and huge scale models, Dinosaur Science is designed to ‘wow’ even the most cynical students and unearth their inner paleontologist.
Awesome performance! Very engaging. Involved the students who enjoyed interacting with the performer and they were thrilled that he stayed to answer their questions. Jared is a fantastic performer. He was extremely animated and obviously very passionate about dinosaurs which showed throughout the performance.

Orang-utan explains that she too can read. No, not books, she reads the forest; who has been where, what fruits are ready to eat and where they are. Orang-utan’s story, though full of laughs, has a very serious undertone. Her home, the tropical Sumatran jungle is shrinking and she worries for the wellbeing of her daughter; and while her mother is undeniably adorable, Babi-utan’s mischievous little face and crazy antics will melt the heart of even the most cynical in the audience. At the end of the segment, students are impressed by the power of mime when they realize they understood everything that Babi-utan said, though she never spoke a word.
An entertaining and informative performace. Included modern links that can relate to the students and a variety of strategies for reading included.
