2019 North Queensland Book Week

Circus Of Life

Llynda is doing what she is best at and loves doing most, juggling, balancing and making people go ooh and ahh. She has entertained people around the world, won prizes and praise for her amazing skills.

What a fantastic performance! The students and staff alike were enthralled by the juggling and other circus tricks. The powerful messages about resilience and standing up to bullies were woven throughout the act. Llynda displayed an extremely professional manner. She delivered the show to a very high standard and spoke in a very calming manner throughout. We could not believe this performance was in its opening weeks.

Street Sense

Crucial issues including the wearing of helmets when riding bikes, the wearing of seatbelts, pedestrian safety and playing in safe places, are all incorporated into this lively and entertaining performance. Llynda doesn’t just talk about the issues, she involves the students in their practical application.

Great mix of interaction, music, participation while providing appropriate road safety messages. Llynda grabbed and held attention well. Very appropriate language and content for the prep age group. Reflection to revise messages at the end was great! Beautiful sense of humour :)

Great to see these messages about practice and making mistakes presented this way. 10 out of 10! We had footy stars here and wanted to hear those messages but they could not communicate. Can’t say enough good things about this show.
