Heidi Hodeo's Circus Rodeo

Loads of audience participation, zany costumes, circus skills, shadow puppets and magic rope, make this a show full of laughs and delights. There are no animals but Heidi makes you believe she is a real cowgirl, as she gets you laughing and calling GIDDY UP, MOO and YAHOO!

Heidi was terrific! Amazing props, set and scenery. She had a lovely connection with the audience, who were completely focused and engaged. She was very funny and the kids and staff loved her. Very professional and a lovely person. We loved the message - diversity, imagination and the “Power of One”.

Circular Circus

Students will need to observe patterns, gather data, and employ their skills of counting, fractions, arithmetic, measurement, space, geometry, and probability if Heidi’s Circus is to maintain its status as the greatest Circular Circus. Most importantly, she will need the critical and creative thinking of the older students to help her solve her biggest problem and complete the show’s incredible finale, the spectacular geometric set.

Fantastic! All students were engaged in the performance including preps through to grade 6. Lots of laughs. Very professional and easy to work with.

My Friends And I

With a winning blend of drama, poetry, puppetry and staging, this light hearted, humorous production tackles the problem of bullying head on. Throughout the show students are assured that if they are being bullied it is not their fault and there are things they can do about it.

The children really enjoyed the performance and understood what the message was that the performer was putting across. Carolyn was well presented and kept the children engaged.

Pass The Poetry Please

Pass the Poetry Please is not a poetry reading, it’s a lively, totally engaging, visually rich theatre experience. Each one of these very different characters has their own style and pace when it comes to delivering poetry. The Geebung Polo Club definitely has its own unique style of playing the sport. Old Mother Hubbard steps out of her cupboard to breathe new life into a number of old classics and Cow tells what it is like to be a cow.

Very good! The performer had lots of enthusiasm and energy. Very organized - a great performance. Great variation of styles and ideas. The children enjoyed it! Good work!

Then And Now

Then and Now looks at the determination, courage and good humour of Australian women. Using story-telling techniques, visual aids, audience participation and puppets, students are transported back in time to explore the vast differences between the way things were done then, compared to now. The “What am I?” segment has students identifying everyday objects from the past including a screw driver and drill, wash board, wooden pegs, and a pre-electric iron as they explore a time when cleaning clothes was a much bigger task than throwing them into a machine.

The infants and middle primary were very involved and enjoyed the show. They asked appropriate questions and gained knowledge.
