Join Mark Penzak and BlueBoat theatre in a charming performance specially designed for audiences aged 2 to 6, that's bursting with fun stories, puppets, comedy and a very special wheelbarrow.
Using a sliver from the sword Excalibur, Tum Tum Tinker makes magic shoes such as Cinderella's slippers and Puss-In-The-Boot's boots. And he also tells stories - like RumRum the Fisherman who sails the ocean on a wooden clog to steal the World's Biggest Pearl - with dangerous results. Then there's the story of PlumPlum, a girl who's so football mad she wears out her boots. And then when TumTum repairs them, she stops practising because she thinks they're magic. Naturally it all goes horribly wrong and so TumTum explains that the best magic is the kind everyone can make - the magic that's created by hard work, practice and trying your best.
The show finishes with everyone getting the chance to play with their own shoes, when the audience has a foot tapping race with TumTum and his speedy accordion.
Mark put on a marvellous show for our age group of 3/4 year olds. He captured their attention and involved the children in his show. The children appeared to love the show, laughing and contributing along the way. Engaging and age appropriate for our children.
