Circus of Life

Curriculum Relevance:

PDHPE: Self esteem, self confidence, self discipline, self determination.

It’s okay to have an opinion and to have a good laugh but when does laughing at someone become bullying?

Llynda is doing what she is best at and loves doing most, juggling, balancing and making people go ooh and ahh. She has entertained people around the world, won prizes and praise for her amazing skills.

But today she is so distracted she makes a few mistakes she even drops a juggling club. You see she is working with other people on a big new show and one of them isn’t happy with what Llynda has asked her to do. Llynda is so distracted she has even left her mobile phone on.

Things get worse when Llynda discovers that her unhappy colleague has posted a video of her dropping juggling clubs and is saying some very unkind things. Llynda has to look at the conflict from her colleague’s point of view and discovers that her colleague has a valid grievance with her.

After discussion and ideas from the audience Llynda regains her confidence and sets about repairing the relationship with her colleague. With the problem sorted and her confidence back Llynda gets back to what she does best, an amazing high energy performance of juggling, balancing and of course loads of fun.
