Having dinosaurs as your best friends should be really cool. However that’s not the case for poor Simon. His dinosaur friends are not happy that the world they once roamed no longer exsists and they are forever questioning Simon about the science he is studying.

These dinosaurs have both an almost out of control inquisitive nature and an overwhelming desire to help which will have your students laughing out loud as they become engrossed in the scientific experiences Simon is trying to work through.

While Simon works through experiments mainly covering robotics, circuitry, energy and sustainability, there is also a brief history of science, that has the dinosaurs not knowing whether to be pleased or appalled that the fauna and flora from their world created the coal and oil that produce much of our power today.

Students see how the huge engines that sped up everything from travel to manufacturing during the Industrial Revolution have been transformed and refined over the years into the complex robots that are used today. In farming, manufacturing, micro surgery, our homes and the satellites that orbit the earth, robotics is used in almost every area of modern life.

Whether it’s participating or predicting the outcome of cool experiments, [some that students can do again at home] or learning fun facts from Simon and his dinosaur friends, Teach Your Dinosaurs Science is designed to pique student’s interest in Science while educating through humour and theatre.

What Schools have said about the writer/producer’s previous science shows:

Excellent. Kids loved all three experiments. They were explained simply for the kids but used the appropriate scientific terms. Very entertaining and held their attention for the whole show.
