Shake is a very visual show that uses mainly marionettes (stringed) puppets to keep the young audience's attention for the forty minutes of the show.
Tutti-Fruity [the puppet that's good enough to eat] comes completely apart: first one arm, then the other, then legs and even his head decides to wander off and it's all done in time to toe-tapping music.
Much of the show is set to music as all manner of colourful marionettes come apart, change and do the unexpected and the seemingly impossible.
With healthy eating as the core message, Shake explores the food pyramid, the importance of exercise and a balanced diet whilst ensuring that the kids are thoroughly entertained and delighted from start to finish. The emphasis is on learning as fun
Our children loved the performance and interacted with the level of information they were learning. Karina was very good and interacted with the children perfectly. Every time we have had visits we have been happy with everything.

We were a little unsure about the content of the show as we haven't had a show like this at the centre before & therefore were not sure how the children would respond. However, upon the first 5 minutes of the show the children were all laughing, smiling and moving around ready to dance. Both the children & staff enjoyed the show and thought the content was age appropriate.
