Space to Breathe is a combination of Yoga lesson, Movement Work Shop and Performance with Stories, Props, Lots of Laughs and Absolutely Loads of Audience Participation.

The children even have choices in the direction the performance takes as Samantha can name a pose - the rocket ship, the cat stretch or the banana to reflect the story your children choose.

Children will 'Blast Off' into outer space, discover different planets, become shooting stars, meet the moon and maybe find some ALIENS! All while moving their bodies in fun and wacky ways

There are catchy, easy to learn, fun songs with their own actions and movements. These are ideal for continuing the fun without Samantha in the following days.

Children’s yoga is about having fun and fostering creativity with the benefit of exercising the body and connecting to breath. In Space to Breathe, the children will bend, stretch and balance; working on coordination, flexibility and body awareness. At the end of each class, Sam will take the children through a simple mindfulness practice to wind down, ending the space adventure with an emphasis on gratitude.

This workshop will leave your students excited about practicing yoga and leave your teachers with practical techniques and games they can incorporate and continue using in class.

Samantha Winsor has been performing for children for over 10 years and with School Performance Tours for over 6 years. Her style is immensely engaging, warm and confident.

For School Performance Tours Samantha has performed Shakespeare to secondary students in Sydney theatres and with her Primary and Kindy appropriate shows she has performed in Primary schools and Pre-school centres from Perth to Sydney and Tasmania to Darwin; yes all around Australia.
