This is the story of a young girl called Jeans. Jeans lives out of town with her Mum, Dad and her pet turtle. With no other children her age close by, most days after school Jeans plays with her imaginary friend Super Hero Sam and the two have grand adventures. But Jeans is getting older and needs more than an imaginary friend. With her birthday approaching Jeans declares she wants a horse for her birthday but what she gets is a donkey. After a brief moment of disappointment Jeans gets her imagination to work and she and Doc the donkey are best of friends and always off on exciting escapades. Life is great, until two of her school friends unexpectedly drop by and unknown to Jeans, the two video her riding her donkey pretending to be riding in and winning the Melbourne Cup. The two think this is hilarious and without Jeans’ knowledge post their video online.
Jeans’ immediate reaction to the bullying is to hide and the situation worsens until her Mum and Dad discover what is happening.
Resilience and persistence are emphasised during the show along with the phrases:- If you are being bullied it’s not your fault but there are things you need to do - Be strong not violent - It’s not just what you say but the way that you say it.
Too Cool For Bullies shows that anyone can become the victim of bullying, how quickly the bullying can devastate the victim and what you can do if you are being bullied.
While the topic is serious, Too Cool For Bullies is full of laughs, bright colourful puppets, props, set and Carolyn has a number of truly mind baffling illusions to captivate and baffle even the most cynical students
The presentation was very good. The presenter and her story was engaging for the students. Very thought provoking! Acronym STAMP very well thought of. Liked the inclusion of example of 'resilience'. Carolyn was very clear, projected her voice really well. Quite entertaining she incorporated humour, magic tricks, great anti-bullying message into a well performed show. Very effective method of delivering the anti-bullying method to children.

Carolyn was very entertaining. The kids really enjoyed the show. Carolyn managed the students well. The anti-bullying messages were powerful! Carolyn was energetic, funny clever voices and entertaining.

Use of puppets effective and engaging especially for junior children. Great use of voice to portray characters. Energetic performance. Range of formats; magic, mime, tricks, puppetry, comedy. Quick change of costumes eg. Hats/scarfs to show different characters - technique employed well.Great use of props. Contempory theme - use of social media to bully.
