In a brief but thrilling demonstrational display, Scott Hone shows children just a small fraction of what he can do on his BMX bike. Almost everybody has ridden a bike but very few can ride a bike like Scott. Backwards on the front wheel - Frontwards on the back wheel - Frontwards on the front wheel - Backwards and yes, upside-down. As he demonstrates, Scott tells children the story of how, when he was given his first BMX bike, he asked, “Is there another way to ride it?” His quest to answer this simple question lead him to first join the Circus, then tour the world doing BMX tricks on stage in front of thousands.

The Paper Theatre dates back to the early 1800s when printed versions were sold outside theatres or made by children at home and used to re-create popular stories of the day.

Mike and Beth of Purple Capsicum Puppets bring everything your children will need to create their very own Paper Theatre; but making it is only half the fun. Once made, children get to use their creation to tell their own story.

Regardless of whether children are skilled in playing percussion or have little or no experience, Bongo’s World Percussion Workshop aims to happily challenge each participant while leaving them in their comfort zone.

It’s a kick back and have some fun while you learn type of workshop. There is heaps of variety as children learn to play African rhythms, Brazilian Samba, Japanese Taiko and Hip-Hop beats.
